Thomas Firth Jackson Council Installation Meeting
June 2015
 
On a sunny Monday evening members of the Thomas Firth Jackson Council together with several guests assembled at the Masonic Hall in Grange over Sands to witness two excellent ceremonies.
 
After the meeting was opened by the Master, Michael Davies the District Grand Prefect Bill Seddon was welcomed to the Council. After everyone had settled down an announcement was made to say the Grand Master was in attendance and demanded admission, all present stood and gave a very warm welcome to the Grand Master, M.W.Bro. Tom Jackson.

The next business was the admission of a new member Bro. Andrew Bartlett became a joining member of the Council and was welcomed on behave of everyone present by Michael Davies.
 
The first of the two ceremonies then took place in which Bro. David Granger (Craft Asst.P.G.M.) was admitted a member of the Degree of St.Lawrence the Martyr.

Michael Davies as Master led the team of Officers and carried out a well worked ceremony, the lecture in this Degree was presented by John Bicknell.

The next business was to Install as Master Bro. John Torrance the work was again carried out by Michael Davies in his usual inimitable style which was appreciated by all present.

Following the Installation, the District Grand Prefect congratulated W.Bro. John Torrance on becoming Master of Thomas Firth Jackson Council, wishing him well for the future. He also commented on the high standard of Ritual worked in both the Installation Ceremony and the Ceremony of St.Lawrence the Martyr, he also welcomed to the Order Bro. David Granger wishing him many years of enjoyment in the Order.
Well thats it!! Might as well go home.
