On a bright Saturday morning in mid October a party of Brethren from West Lancashire made an early start to venture into the District of Thames Valley to attend their District meeting. |

Leading the deputation was the DGP Paul Snape; he was accompanied by the Dept.DGP Mark Barton, William Richmond and John Bicknell Following an uneventful rail journey, arriving at Crewe, so as to change trains, they met up with Peter Talbot, the District Grand Prefect for Cheshire & North Wales. |

They were welcomed by Bob Chevin, the District Grand Prefect following the welcome they were able to meet friends and share a welcome cup of tea together with a plentiful supply of biscuits including Jammie Dodgers!. |
Following the four course Banquet the party made their way back to Lancashire. |
